About Me

Language has always been a significant part of my life. While growing up in a small town in Iowa, USA, I was always fascinated by other cultures and languages which lead me to start learning German at just 11 years old. My studies took me to Germany many times and eventually I moved to Dusseldorf in 2011 and set permanent roots in The Netherlands in 2015 where I still live with my Dutch husband and our boy/girl twins.

My daily life has been multilingual for more than two decades and my passion for language has not only had a powerful impact on my personal life but also on my career path. From developing corporate strategies at a large consulting firm to starting my own platform supporting international parents and now working as a (bilingual) copywriter since 2020, each part of my journey involved choosing the right words to get a certain message across to each audience.

I take a personalized approach with each project, and base my writing off of detailed interviews with the client. This allows me to ensure that their voice and vision is still present in my text. I focus on writing clear stories with impact, always leaving the reader intrigued and curious to learn more. I can work in both Dutch and English and specialize in multilingual copywriting projects.
